A non-refundable retainer is required, which is half the price of the cake to reserve the date at booking.

Minimum of $50(single tier) & $160(2 tier) for wedding cake orders.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

 A retainer of 50% of the total cost of the order confirms and holds the date for reservation. The retainer is refundable in full 120 or more days before the event minus a $100 transaction fee for services consultation rendered. The remainder of payment is due no later than 14 days before the event. Late or no payment is subject to cancellation. Late payments may result in substitutions or modifications to the original order. A late fee of $25 will be added to the total for every day payment is not received. In an event that Lacey’s Cakes has to cancel a cake due to personal circumstances, the retainer will be refunded in full, at no fault to the client.

 Any cake that is set-up outside during any event has the possibility of melting or deforming due to the heat. Lacey’s Cakes will not be liable for a cake once it has been delivered to location or picked up.  Once the cake is turned over to customer at pick up, customer is fully liable and responsible for the cake. Please make sure you have adequate room available to transport cake safely in your vehicle as well as drive carefully as cakes are very fragile. Delivery is available for an added charge of .50/mile roundtrip.

 Cakes do need to be picked up within the agreed time frame. I set apart time in my day to be available for cake pick-ups so please be considerate and be on time. There is a late fee of $20 for the first 30 minutes after agreed pick-up time. Every 15 minutes after the initial 30 minutes will incur an additional $5. Under certain circumstances Lacey’s Cakes may waive the late fee.

 Lacey’s Cakes reserves the right to exercise artistic license in order to guarantee the structural, visual and creative integrity of dessert structure.
